I founded District Support Services to provide compassionate, inclusive, and responsive care for students, staff, and families in school communities, drawing on more than 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, school refusal, ADHD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and OCD. My work is deeply informed by a commitment to neurodiversity, and I am an ADHD Certified Clinician, offering dedicated support to individuals with ADHD, along with their families and communities, to foster resilience and well-being.
Throughout my career, I have integrated a range of therapeutic approaches to meet my clients’ unique needs, including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, ACT, EFT, and IFS. My approach is person-centered, emphasizing empathy and adaptability to create a therapeutic experience that empowers clients on their personal journeys. At District Support Services, I work closely with school districts to ensure our team of licensed clinicians delivers compassionate, trauma-informed care to students and staff in times of crisis. Through supervision, training, and ongoing collaboration with educational leaders, I strive to ensure that our services meet the evolving mental health needs of school communities with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being.
With over two decades of experience in education, technology, and school leadership, I've dedicated my career to developing systems that enhance student safety, promote mental health, and strengthen school communities. Leveraging my background in educational administration and technology, I founded District Support Services and Student Safety Alert to help schools effectively respond to crises and deliver meaningful, trauma-informed care.
District Support Services connects districts with licensed clinicians who offer on-site crisis response, consultation, and training—ensuring schools are fully prepared to support students during and after traumatic events. Student Safety Alert extends this support beyond the school day, providing 24/7 monitoring and immediate response to urgent student alerts involving self-harm, violence, and other high-risk behaviors.
Together, these services fill critical gaps in existing school support systems, empowering districts to meet the complex needs of their students with compassion, professionalism, and timely intervention.
